Abstract:

In this article, Meredith discusses a financial service that has been available to stockbrokers and investment institutions and is trying to gain acceptance in the academic world. The information system monitors news around the world 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with expert analysts operating its telephone lines in New York 24 hours a day. Financial analysts can perform analyses on this system that are not available on any other system. Performance, valuation, and comparative analysis can be done on companies, indexes, and industries. It monitors the stock and bond markets.
